Created at the Manhattan club in 1874 for Winston
Churchill’s mother, it is originally made with rye or
bourbon down south. You can have your choice!!!
Mint Julep
The first American cocktail to attract international
attention. Its roots are a little obscure but Kentucky
has the strongest claim.
Daiquiri
Named after a Cuban town in the oriente province.
Thought to be invented by an American engineer
(Jennings Cox)it was brought back stateside by the
U.S. navy. A favorite of sailors & poets.
Martini
Any number of origins but martini di arma di taggia
a bartender at the Knickerbocker hotel in NYC could
take the credit, mind you so could the late 19th
century firearm of the same name that was famous
for its kick.
Old Fashioned
Developed in the pendennis club in Louisville,
Kentucky there are two ways of making this
drink but depending on who you talk to e
